Account Opening Guideline

   

Individual / Joint Account


After completing the Account Opening Form, please come to our office in person with the following documents:

  1. Completed Account Opening Form
  2. Personal Identification Document (e.g. a valid Hong Kong Identity Card or a valid passport)
  3. Address Proof from the recent 3 months (e.g. Recent utilities bills, bank statements)

If you send the account opening documents by post:

  • Please download, read and complete the “Individual / Joint Account Opening Form” and “Terms and Conditions”.
  • Please enclose a personal cheque with minimum of HK$10,000 payable to “Ayers Alliance Securities (HK) Limited- Clients A/C” and post to our Office. The personal cheque should be issued by a Hong Kong registered bank bearing your name identical to your identity documents and your signature identical to the signature shown on the “Individual / Joint Account Opening Form” or you can arrange a professional such as lawyer or accountant, etc. to witness or verify your signature. The witnessing (or verifying) professional should also provide his/her relevant professional qualification proof.
  • Corporate Account (applicable for company incorporated in Hong Kong only)


    The following corporate documents to be provided herewith:

    1. Certified True Copy of Certificate of Incorporation
    2. Certified True Copy of Memorandum and Article of Association
    3. Certified True Copy of Business Registration Certificate
    4. Certified True Copy of Company Search Report (e.g. Latest Annual Return)
    5. Certified True Copies of ID/Passport of Director(s) and Authorized Person(s) and Shareholder who hold 10% or more of the ultimate beneficial interest
    6. Certified True Copy of Address Proof from the recent 3 months of the Director(s), Authorized Person(s) and Shareholder who hold 10% or more of the ultimate beneficial interest
    7. Certified True Copy of extracts of Board Resolution
    8. Financial Statement for the Latest Financial Year (if applicable)
    9. Details of the ownership and structure control of the company e.g. an ownership chart

    Remark: The above corporate documents should be certified true by:

  • a person or an affiliate of a person licensed by or registered with the SFC; or
  • a Justice of the Peace; or
  • a professional person such as a branch manager of a bank, a certified public accountant, a lawyer or a notary public; or
  • Certification services that are recognized by the Electronic Transactions Ordinance (Cap. 553), such as the certification services available from the Hongkong Post.
  • Corporate Account (applicable for company incorporated in the Overseas only)


    The following corporate documents to be provided herewith:

    1. Certified True Copy of Certificate of Incorporation
    2. Certified True Copy of Certificate of Incumbency issued within last 6 months
    3. Certified True Copy of Certificate of Good Standing
    4. Certified True Copy of Memorandum and Article of Association
    5. Certified True Copy of Register of Member & Register of Directors
    6. Certified True Copy of ID/Passport of Director(s) and Authorized Person(s) and Shareholder who hold 10% or more of the ultimate beneficial interest
    7. Certified True Copy of Address Proof from the recent 3 months of the Director(s), Authorized Person(s) and Shareholder who hold 10% or more of the ultimate beneficial interest
    8. Certified True Copy of Company Search Report (e.g. Latest Annual Return)
    9. Certified True Copy of extracts of Board Resolution
    10. Financial Statement for the Latest Financial Year (if applicable)
    11. Details of the ownership and structure control of the company e.g. an ownership chart
